CUTTING

A cutter is a machine to cut a "cord-containing rubber sheet" made of synthetic fiber (such as nylon, so-called textile) or steel cords whose upper and lower surfaces are coated with rubber to a specified cord angle and a sheet width, and finally to make an "angled cord-containing rubber sheet" by continuously joining those cut pieces in the direction of the cutting line.
Since the machine cuts a rubber sheet and joins those cut pieces with the cords angled, it is called a "bias cutter" or simply a "cutter."

We provide mainly the following three models, depending on the material such as synthetic fiber or steel, and also depending on the applied tire component such as belt (low angle approximately between 15 and 45 degrees) or ply (mainly 90 degrees). In addition, we can also provide the high rigid cutter's which can cut an ultra low angle. This cutter can produce belts and plies for supersized tires used for construction vehicles.

TypeDescription
Cutter for steel belt The cutter uses the rotary cutter system as the cutting method. This machine is mainly equipped with an automatic splice, slitter, edging equipment, and automatic end loading type roller.
Cutter for steel ply The cutter uses the rotary cutter system as does the cutter for steel belt. The cutter can cut even steel cords for construction vehicle tires.
Cutter for textile ply The cutter is mainly used for body ply for passenger vehicle tires.
